WORKPLACE HARASSMENT - THE LAW, POLICY AND ENFORCEMENT

Allegations of workplace harassment are becoming more common. Employers need to have proper policies in place and supervisors who understand the importance of ensuring employees and organizations stay safe, compliant and responsive.

Labor & Employment Attorney Jan Hensel (Dinsmore & Shohl LLP) and HR Specialist Jen Kelley (CMax Advisors) will share their expertise regarding the legal aspects of harassment and the development of anti-harassment/civility in the workplace policies. They will be joined by a panel of employers discussing best practices for preventing and correcting unlawful harassment.

LEAD NOW Series

BUILD YOUR TEAM’S TRUST TO ACHIEVE RESULTS

Leadership is about people and performance. Trust without results is unacceptable and results without trust is unsustainable. These elements work together to produce leadership that motivates and inspires great performance.

The stakes have never been higher to get leadership right, and the cost has never been greater for getting it wrong. Anyone in a leadership position - not just leaders at the top, but leaders at every level will benefit from this series.

  • SESSION ONE – Tuesday, April 3
The three-session series begins with an overview of the proven Lead [Now!] system. Participants will discuss the importance of building trust. Just as important, they’ll examine keys to maintaining trust once it’s been built.
  • SESSION TWO – Tuesday, April 17
In this session, participants will continue to explore the leadership foundation of Trust. Leaders build trust through character, competence and connection. These three disciplines will be examined in detail.
  • SESSION THREE – Tuesday, May 8
In the final session, participants will move from the foundation of trust, and focus on achieving results. Leaders achieve results through clarity, accountability and support.
